Clare Lopez: NEC-SE DIR, Israel-Iran Expanded War & Sinwar, New Paradigms w/Sargis Sangari EP #214

Lopez, senior advisory board member of Near East Center for Strategic Engagement, The Director of U.S. Geostrategic Security Issues for NEC-SE, the Founder/President of Lopez Liberty LLC, and former CIA Clandestine Operations Officer, joins me to discuss the Israel-Hamas war after the killing of Yahya Sinwar and "Operation New Order" and the Israel-Iran expanded war.

Last Wednesday, a unit from its 828th Bislamach Brigade of the IDF was patrolling Tal al-Sultan, an area of Rafah, where it ran into a chance encounter with three militants who were engaged and eliminated. When the IDF returned to the scene of the firefight the next day, one of the three militants that were killed the day prior bore a remarkable resemblance to the leader of Hamas, Yahya Sinwar, the mastermind of the 7 October attacks.

We now know that Yahya Sinwar was killed in that chance encounter by the IDF.

Now that Sinwar is killed and that almost 1 out of 4 members of Hezbollah of the 130K estimated fighters have been killed in Lebanon, the next step is what Israel is going to do with Iran, which has an extensive footprint in North America with its Hezbollah proxies that can be unleashed against the U.S. when Israel attacks Iran.
