Rick Barrett is originally from the state of Rhode Island. At the age of 25 he decided to move to Texas with only 2 suitcases to pursue a career in teaching Social Studies.

After spending 10 years within the profession, teaching in classrooms from 5th grade all the way to post-secondary education, he decided to move on and obtain a Master’s degree from Penn State in Homeland Security. During this time period he started a business and obtained a Federal Firearm License for 5 years. Rick has also hosted multiple podcasts on the Crusade Radio Network under “The Barrett Brief” and on the Youtube show “News From The Pew”. He saw the need for Catholics to take the charge to defend themselves and their parishes back in 2020 and founded the org
