Byron Donalds: ‘A Disgrace’ All Kamala Harris Thinks of Black Men Is Free Loans, Legalize Marijuana

LEVIN: “Welcome back, America. We’re here with our good friend Byron Donalds, really a superstar in the House of Representatives. Byron, I’m going to ask you a question. We have Kamala Harris, who, it is said, is bleeding support among me, particularly young black men. And so she comes out with a five-bullet plan, and one of them is to legalize marijuana. I’m sitting there saying, ‘Wait a minute, I know I’m not black. What kind of stereotype is that? How the hell is that going to help anybody?’ I mean, really? Is that the problem? Are our prisons loaded with people who smoke marijuana? I mean, if she were the D.A., it would be loaded with people who smoked marijuana because she prosecuted a lot of them. And then Obama says what he says. Isn’t part of the problem here, Byron Donalds, the way the Democrat Party and these leftists condescend to their base, particularly the black community? Because you’ve been saying this for a long time.”
DONALDS: “It is the problem, Mark. And I’ll tell you, when she came up with that plan, basically it was free loans, which is just giving money away, and weed. And there’s a lot of black men out here who are like, ‘Really? That’s what you think of us?’ That is why the Democrats have been losing support amongst black men in particular, but men overall, specifically Kamala Harris. And look, you look at this agenda she put out. First of all, the free loans, that’s unconstitutional. You can’t give money away based upon skin color, unconstitutional. And number two, that’s all you think a black man is, marijuana? It’s just a disgrace that they think of black men this way. Black men care about the same issues that every American cares about. How about you secure the southern border? How about we have an economy where wages adjusted for inflation are actually rising? What about taking the shackles off of our small businesses from the regulatory standpoint so we can actually raise capital in the market system and actually deploy business ability and opportunities so we can grow our businesses for ourselves, for our children, for our communities. That is the type of agenda that black men are looking for and, quite frankly, it’s the agenda that every American is looking for. But the Democrats have really hit a buzz saw in 2024. I believe they have taken for granted black voters in this country one too many elections and they have had enough. But, Mark, it’s not about race. It’s about the fact that Americans across the country have had enough of Kamala Harris and Barack Obama and Joe Biden and this agenda that has been destructive of the American people.”
