BAJANG RATU Temple, Gapura Paduraksa

Bajang Ratu Temple is the largest Majapahit gate building located in Temon Village, Trowulan, Mojokerto
Historians associate this gate with Çrenggapura (Çri Rangkatura) or Kapopongan in Antawulan (Trowulan), a holy place mentioned in the Kakawin Negarakretagama: "Sira ta dhinarumeng Kapopongan, bhiseka ring crnggapura pratista ring antawulan", as a pedharmaan (holy place). There it is stated that after Saka died in 1250 (around 1328 AD), this place was dedicated to the spirit of Jayanegara who died. Jayanegara was revered in Kapopongan and inaugurated in Antawulan (Trowulan). The ruins of the former temple where Jayanegara was enshrined were not found, all that remains is this paduraksa gate and the foundations of the former fence
