//- Conscription service terms (in 90-s and 00-s) in the Russian army - 2 years (3 years in Navy)

//- Lots of last names in the show was based on animals
*Kabanov from kaban means a wild boar
*Medvedev from medved means a bear
*Sokolov from sokol means a tiercel

//- Sordiers during the first year of service called a scum. In Russian they say "duh" (pl.: duhi). Literally duh means a ghost or a spirit.
