Cyberpunk 2077 Nomad Ep163 - MaxTac Mantis Blades (No Commentary)

Now that I've gone through the lions share of the story, both in the standard game and Phantom Liberty, I can't say that your pick of cyberware really makes all that much of a dramatic difference.

I have no doubt that I could put together an easy quickhack build, add just about any high-end cyberdeck and end up ripping through most opposition without even knowing what hit them. The rest of the cyberware? Other than the Frontal Cortex category, the only other useful pieces would be the optical camo and the double-jump leg cyberware.

That's why I wanted to steer towards a more gunfighter-oriented character. With Sandevistan doing most of the work, everything else in my current cyberware loadout is just whatever I could think of that added more armor, or had matching bonuses for varying stats. Nothing really stands out in any way, they're just parts that are slotted in and forgotten about.

The mantis blades though? Right from before the game lauched they were showcased as being these incredible weapons that could hack through crowds of bad guys with little effort. Well they certainly lived up to the hype.

I'm tempted to try a mantis-blades only run.
