Scope & Content: Ambulance and machine gun units move forward near Belleville. 350th Machine Gun Bn. troops open fire. French Gen. Ballou observes the action. 325th Field Signal Bn. troops splice telex phone wires in newly captured trenches. Wounded are treated at a first aid station at Lesmenils and receive coffee from Y.M.C.A. workers. German airplanes circle over Sounat. Mess is prepared in a field kitchen. Troops get haircuts.
