Self served and retired from U.S. Army with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, and then served as County Judge in Collin County, TX. In this conversation, Congressman Self shares his motivations for running for office at the county and federal levels, and how he and his wife Tracy navigate the drama that is politics.
