Frederic and Kartik join the program and they tell their perspective stories of immigrating to the United States legally. The process, the costs, the education and the pride that all went into becoming a legal citizen of the United States and being forded the chance to live the American dream in the land of opportunity.
They are both sounding the alarm on the direction that America is heading and they explain how we are looking more and more like their home countries of Uganda & India, than the America they have always dreamed of coming to.
Frederic also served in the US Armed Forces as a "thank you" to the nation that gave him and his family a chance! That is extremely honorable. Frederic is a current Ambassador for Veterans For America First and is heavily involved in his community.
Kartik is also deeply involved at the state and local level in politics, and volunteers at the sheriffs department. He has worked his way up from being a Wal-Mart cashier to owning his own business. Kartik is also an ambassador for Veterans For America First.
Frederic and Kartik are grateful to be living in the United States and to be able to contribute to our nation in a meaningful and honorable way.
