The Raven is a 110 mile route that goes around the Sam Houston National Forest in the Piney Woods of South East Texas. For those that thought Texas was nothing but desert, join me for the first leg of the trip as we exit the I-45 in New Waverly and head through the Sam Houston National Forest on TX 150 for over 38 miles of gorgeous forest road to Coldspring Tx.
