David and Bathsheba 1951

David falls in love with Bathsheba and arranges for her husband, Uriah, to be placed in the front lines of battle, where he is subsequently killed.

David then marries Bathsheba and is wracked with guilt over his actions. Nathan confronts David about his sins and David repents, eventually rebuilding his relationship with Bathsheba and reaffirming his faith in God.
