Rock Guru Pinpoche at Kew Fin

My friend Maggie asked me to place one of these statues in a special place that I knew and I instantly knew where I would put it. A great honour for her to ask me to do this task. It is a special and sacred place for me in the mountains where I live east of Chiang Mai in Thailand. It is on a ridge line starting at Kew Fin lookout. I’ve added photos when getting close to the location which is on a big rock looking out on a lovely mountain landscape. I have spent a lot of time at this place over the last ten years. When at the Kew Fin lookout there is a trail at the far end of that spot and then about 1.5 km along a rolling ridge trail to the spot. The gps co-ordinates are 18.84763, 99.36218. This is shown at the end of the video as well.

These black diamond-carved Guru Rinpoche statues, which contain iron beads and scriptures, can last for hundreds of years in outdoor environments. According to Guru Rinpoche’s prediction, they can be places on mountains and lakes around the world to suppress and resolve various disasters ad wars around the world. Liberating all sentient beings in the six realms and become Buddhas.

There is an introduction in Tibetan, Chinese and English on the back of the stone statue for passers-by to understand and avoid moving at will. There is an anti-accidental curse wheel at the bottom of the stone statue to prevent passers-by or small animals from accidentally stepping on it.

Please place it in the mountains, rivers or caves, beside lakes or in the ocean. In principle, one statue can be places in one place. If it is an extremely special place or a place prone to frequent disasters , 2 to 3 statues can be placed.
