And so we march under a foreign flag, we don't get any pay or wages, we fight under the Russian banner, we are the German legion!

We have left behind what others value as true and good, we can love and also hate by our own pride and courage.

Our fatherland has rejected us - ungrateful, she denies us. We are cut away from her destiny and so we move into an unknown battle.

So close your ranks, oh brothers! Even if our fatherland banished us, we German-Baltics remain free - even if Germany staggers, we will stand!

We are the iron soldiers from the "Eiserne Division" and we stand here for Germany's power and honour! We keep our deeds high, for ancient Germany and its army!
