President of the National Constitution Center and author Jeffrey Rosen and Archivist of the United States Dr. Colleen Shogan will discuss what “the pursuit of happiness” meant to six of the most influential founders -Benjamin Franklin, George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, and Alexander Hamilton - and how that famous phrase defined their lives and became the foundation of our democracy.
