John 14 (f you love me, keep my commandments) - Biblical Salvation settled once and for all (ep 13)

John 14 is a very difficult passage to reconcile with a faith-without-works salvation, particularly because of the statement "If you love me, keep my commandments", which is often used to promote a works-based salvation. In this study, we look at what this actually means, with a holistic understanding of what Jesus is talking about in this conversation (which spans from John 13 to 16) and consider how John interpreted this dialogue when he echoed many of the same themes in his epistles (i.e. "love one another", "abide", "keep his commandments").

Sorry for the technical problems in this recording and for my coarse voice. I have had a touch of Covid and I'm not sure if the technical issues were caused by my recording software or the video editing software but I would have to redo the whole thing to fix it.
