I began with lying hamstring curls on the Lifefitness brand machine. I did these heavy-ish, in the 10+ rep range drawing out the eccentric portion then contracting forcefully with the concentric. So as not to cripple myself before work I did these sub-maximally as I do in the 2-3 RIR range

Second and last for calves, I used the Hammer Strength standing calf raise machine. The elevated rounded step allows you to get a good heel drop stretch at the Achilles. I like to use the wide toe box of my shoes to “Chaka” my toes to “grip” the step as I flex my gastrocs for greater stability and a more forceful contraction
