Iris Bernstein, a prominent figure in Israel’s extreme right, has made several controversial statements advocating for the expulsion of Palestinians in Gaza. Her son, soldier Yonatan Tzur, was killed in Gaza, and her husband has been serving in the army for a year.
Bernstein has called for harsher measures in Gaza, criticising Israel’s current military strategy as “too merciful”. She says they are prioritising the lives of Palestinians in Gaza over Israelis.
