London
London—a chaotic launchpad for OUR Euro Adventure, where the streets pulse with life and madness at every turn.
Eight hours on a red-eye flight, crammed in a metal tube hurtling through the sky, and just as I thought sleep would come to me, the universe delivered a stunning seatmate. A woman with eyes that held a thousand stories and a fondness for keeping me up through the night with random conversations. It was romantic in that fleeting, impossible way—the kind where you know you’ll never see each other again, but you share something unreal, something that makes travel beautiful. We fell asleep to a movie, sharing nothing but the moment.

I touched down on British soil, sleep-deprived and grinning like a man who had just wrestled his own exhaustion into submission. I joined part of our crew that had already arrived, and we fought valiantly against the urge to pass out, roaming the streets with half-lidded eyes and coffee cups as our shields. The mission? Stay awake at all costs. We failed spectacularly.

Danny Boi, our chaotic commander of good times, thundered in with the energy of a man possessed. "LET'S RALLYYY!" he roared. And rally we did. Daniel, Owner of graffiti park and our navigator of urban exploration—led us to his spiritual homeland: Leake Street Arches, a graffiti-covered tunnel that felt like we’d stumbled into a parallel universe, one where art, booze, and rebellion intertwined.

And then, football. England vs. Netherlands. The crowd was a pack of wild animals, howling and surging in a frenzy. We were dragged in, willingly surrendering to the beautiful madness that is football in Europe. The night bled on.

Dinner followed, of course. The kind where you ask your waitress in hushed tones where the party favors are, a travel ritual that uncorks a different kind of adventure. We found ourselves in an adult ball pit, laughing like lunatics, reduced to children by the sheer ridiculousness of it all. As if this night, this city, couldn’t get more surreal.

Day 2 came at us with all the sudtleness of a charging bull. We plunged into London’s rich history, mouths stuffed with treats from Borough Market, taking in every crooked street and ancient stone. Then there was THE VAULT—a hidden bar tucked under Tower Bridge, a place so secret you could walk past it a hundred times and never know it was there, unless, of course, you were called to it like we were, drawn by the magnetic pull of the city’s hidden gems.

Even with a sub par dinner at Sky Garden, London had us in its grip, dragging us deeper into its underworld, where laughter echoed through rain-soaked streets and the city never seemed to sleep.
And just when we thought we had it all figured out,
Daniel—a magnet for trouble if there ever was one—found himself betrayed by a late-night Chinese meal laced with peanuts. Off to the ER we went. Because no great adventure is complete without a dash of medical chaos.

It was the perfect kickoff to the GREAT SUMMER ADVENTURE and our Euro Road Trip - full of strange encounters, football fever, and a dash of ER madness. And this was only the beginning.
