Bill C11 is a travesty to any free nation. While the government speaks of protecting Canadian culture it also states that Canada is a post-national country with no culture.
The speed at which this bill has gone through the parliament and senate since being sent back from the Senate can be understood as nothing except an attack on movements like NCI which exposes the corruption and misdeeds of officials.
The NCI as it draws upon worldwide experts and individual Canadians is presenting facts and evidence the government has tried to cover up for months.
The work of the NCI has only begun but regulations like those that arise from Bill C-11 will stifle debate, and facts from getting out.
It will stop the free expression of Canadians.
Senators voted 52 to 16. Royal assent was granted at 6:55 pm EDT.
New regulations arising out of this bill will be published in the Gazette so we encourage Canadians to read and comment on the Gazette and stand up again for freedom.
The NCI is currently being censored and shadow banned in social media and instead of increasing censorship like the WEF proposed at its recent meetings in Davos, Canadians need to see regulation stopping censorship in the media including social media.

Former psychology professor Jordan Peterson has vowed to make the process of taking a course “as public as I possibly can” in the wake of a recent ruling by a Canadian court.
The verdict in question was by the Divisional Court in Ontario, which ruled that an order from the College of Psychologists of Ontario requiring Peterson to take a course in professionalism in communications was justified.
The order comes after Peterson has expressed conservative viewpoints on social media, including public criticism of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

This clears the path for the contentious bill presented by Canadian Heritage Minister Pablo Rodriguez— focused on substantively reforming the Broadcasting Act for the first time since 1991— to come into effect.
Bill C-11 is aimed at ensuring increasingly popular and profitable social media platforms and streaming services such as Netflix, Crave, Spotify, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ and YouTube are subjected to Canadian content requirements and regulations comparable to traditional broadcasters. The policy change comes with a requirement for these platforms to spend millions investing in Canadian content and creators.
While the NDP and Bloc Quebecois, as well as many in the "CanCon" music, film, and television industries, have backed Bill C-11, alarms have been sounded by critics that the Liberal proposal could have knock-on effects for content creators and what everyday users see online, due to provisions that would require platforms to promote Canadian content.

applied to any technology in the modern era, including Title II common carriers. The closest analog
would be the heavy-handed rules the FCC applied to the Ma Bell telephone monopoly during the height
of the New Deal era—a copper wire period of time when it was hard to distinguish between government
regulator and telephone provider.
But do not take my word for it. The text of the order expressly provides that the FCC would be
empowered, for the first time, to regulate each and every ISP’s:
● “network infrastructure deployment, network reliability, network upgrades, network
maintenance, customer-premises equipment, and installation”;
● “speeds, capacities, latency, data caps, throttling, pricing, promotional rates, imposition of late
fees, opportunity for equipment rental, installation time, contract renewal terms, service
termination terms, and use of customer credit and account history”;
● “mandatory arbitration clauses, pricing, deposits, discounts, customer service, language
options, credit checks, marketing or advertising, contract renewal, upgrades, account termination,
transfers to another covered entity, and service suspension.”

The Protect IP Act, targets websites that distribute pirated materials by having the Department of Justice block those websites. If passed, the law would be implemented through a public censoring system very similar to the ones being used by China and Iran.
Internet giants such as Google, Facebook, and Yahoo have vigorously opposed the act, saying that it would give government too much censoring power. In fact, Yahoo has removed its membership with the US Chamber of Commerce (a supporter of the act) over Protect IP.
Public Knowledge, a non-profit organization devoted to ensuring an “open” internet stated that if Protect IP became law, it would “threaten the functioning, freedom, and economic potential of the Internet.”

Where did this order originate?
According to the New York Times, which first reported on the Trump administration’s plans, Jared Kushner, the President’s son-in-law and a senior White House adviser, has been pushing for this order internally.
The language is very similar to legislation proposed in Congress directing the Education Department to include protection from anti-Israel and anti-Semitic discrimination in enforcing the Civil Rights Act. Members of both parties co-sponsored the Anti-Semitism Awareness Act, which was first introduced in 2016, when it passed the Senate unanimously but was not taken up by the House of Representatives.
The bill was reintroduced in both houses of Congress in 2018 and 2019.
