P.F. Chang’s Mongolian Beef copycat recipe, along with directions on how to make it:

Ingredients:
1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
1/4 cup cornstarch
2 tbsp vegetable oil
3/4 cup soy sauce (low sodium)
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup water
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp ginger, minced
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
2 green onions, sliced
Directions:
Prepare the beef: Slice the flank steak thinly against the grain. Toss the slices in cornstarch, ensuring they are fully coated. Let the meat sit for about 10 minutes.

Make the sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, water, and brown sugar. Set aside.

Cook the beef: Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef in small batches, cooking each side for about 2 minutes or until it browns. Remove the cooked beef from the pan and set it aside.

Prepare the sauce: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and ginger, cooking for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the soy sauce mixture and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until it starts to thicken.

Combine and finish: Add the cooked beef back to the skillet, stir to coat the meat with the sauce, and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick (optional) and top with sliced green onions.

Serve: Enjoy your Mongolian Beef over steamed rice or with your favorite side dishes.
