Leia Display - the first holographic display
Premiere of a Polish invention - a screen displaying holograms Leia Display System

Leia Display System is a screen patented by Poles that allows for displaying an image in the air. It allows for the projection of any content on a thin layer of water vapor, acting as a medium. The projection actively responds to touch. This allows for interaction with the image suspended in space using movements and gestures. This is the technology most similar to film holograms. A revolution in the way images are displayed begins.

George Lucas' film "Star Wars" was the inspiration for the creation of many inventions and new technologies around the world. To this day, technology is unable to meet the imagination of film gadget creators. However, this is slowly changing, among others thanks to one of the Polish companies that produced and patented a screen straight from science fiction films. In one of the scenes of the aforementioned film, R2D2 (a small friendly robot) displays a hologram of Princess Leia hanging in the air, begging for help. This scene was the inspiration for the creation of the "Leia Display System". The device allows the image from the projector to be displayed in the air. The viewer can try to touch the image or even walk through it. The sight of such a phenomenon makes a stunning impression. It is best seen in the videos presenting the operation of the devices:
