21-Year-Old Turns Misdemeanor into Felony

On February 20, 2023 in Florida, a sheriff's deputy observed a vehicle with a partially obscured rear license plate. A plate query revealed that the driver/owner had her driving privileges permanently revoked for failure to complete BDI (Basic Driver Improvement) class. When the deputy initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and informed the driver of this, she became confrontational and denied that her license had been suspended.
