Dallas Cowboys Get Caught Sleeping On Jared Goff Quick Snap

This quick snap by Jared Goff and the lions was emblematic of how sloppy the cowboys were on Sunday and how detail oriented the lions were.

I think it started in the quarter before when Dallas was ultra slow getting set up for this bunch set. The lions saw it and then I think they saw how slow a particular corner was at getting set play after play. This was the play before the quick snap and you can see how late Diggs is to get in pre snap position. Goff sees it too.

So in the third quarter the lions run this play and you can see Goff take a look over at Diggs who is slowly trotting over to his man and he knows the cowboys have not addressed the issue.

The very next play Lions come out in the bunch, cowboys are again slow to get set. Not even the lineman are in position, and the Jared Goff quick snaps which leaves Diggs in horrible position to Jam, and so his attempt does not go well and he is now trailing his assignment quite a bit.

Combine that with the failure of the safety to play over the top on the only deep route in front of him and you have an easy touch down.
