The Christian Soldier: Ready For Spiritual Warfare!! #Shorts
II Timothy 2:3 – 4 KJV

3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
Every day, whether you realize it or not, you are fighting a struggle. The devil wants to be in charge of your life. His mission is to assassinate, rob, and destroy everything good and divine in your life. God also has a plan for you. Finally, through His Son Jesus, you can have eternal life and fellowship with Him.
It's no secret that Christians are in the midst of a spiritual war. The apostle to the Gentiles referred to himself and his colleagues as soldiers on several occasions. He characterized Christianity as a fight. This charismatic soul-winner compared himself to a soldier and the church to an army of troops, traveling, fighting, suffering, enduring, and conquering. This great preacher saw his job as more than just plotting and drawing rations; he saw it as a war he needed to win. "Thus, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ, bear hardness," Paul wrote to Timothy, whom he admired and addressed as "my son."
My former pastor often preaches that the Christian soldier must love. "Love is what it does!" she would say after that. Love is a verb that requires action. "Give them their flowers because they live!" my mother would always say. As a result, it is our action. Our actions demonstrate that we are Christian soldiers ready to fight the devil. We can conduct spiritual warfare and fight wickedness with this Agape-type love, or God's love.
