Marines from Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) Team, Company I, 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment (3/1), heading south in response to an Improvised Explosive Devise (IED) threat, locating and disposing of it by controlled detonation at Company Out Post (COP) Sher, Garmsir District, Helmand Province, Afghanistan. 3/1 is conducting operations in support of the International Security Assistance Force.
