Part 1: 8 reasons why the spiritual gifts are for today

I have been doing a series on the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and the importance of spiritual gifts for believers today.

Of course, there are those today, called cessationists, who don't believe the spiritual gifts are for today. In this two part series, I will discuss the eight reasons why I believe the spiritual gifts are for today. This will include discussing the major reasons why cessationists oppose the spiritual gifts.

In Part 1, I will discuss my first five reasons, that includes Peter's sermon on the Day of Pentecost, that the Gift of the Holy Spirit was for all who believed in Jesus.
