Money As (Fraudulent) Debt by Paul Grignon

What does that mean "money as debt"? It means that if no one took out a loan, there would be no money (actually it's currency) in existence. If you have some currency in your pocket and you have no debt, someone else DOES have a debt. You'll notice that when people speak about Monopoly Money, they say it as a synonym for "worthless". But you also might have noticed that when the game of Monopoly begins, each player is "just given" some money (actually it's currency) with which to get started. Players do not have to pay interest for the currency they received to start the game. In conclusion, Monopoly Money is issued without debt, but most other forms currency in the world today (2024) are issued WITH and AS A debt. From this point of view, Monopoly Money is probably BETTER than whatever you have.
