Hi Everyone Sandman Here,

This video is brought to you by a donation from Sebastiano and here's what he has to say: "Hi Sandman, It's Sebastiano again I'm 31, late to the game and wasted my 20s dating with over seven grand spend on women. Now I've moved in with my dad and am investing half my pay in stocks every week to retire in 20 to 40 years. Any advice? I wanna know what you think of my stocks and portfolio. In my unregister account are risky penny stocks which I'm hoping for 1,000x. My RSP or 401K for Americans is an index funds the safe 5 to 10% a year growth until I'm 65 in a quest trade aggressive growth portfolio. And my tax free account is a mixture of oil, Tech and other dividend stocks to gradually increase how much money I'm getting every month to buy more stocks. As well as purchase more penny stocks with the hope that one of them explodes. All advice is much appreciated thank you appreciate your work. Well Sebastiano thanks for the donation and topic. I won't mention your individual stock holdings here but last time you sent me a request I told you your speculative tech stocks would go down and many of them have. You want advice but here's my disclaimer this isn't advice. It's for entertainment purposes only, wink wink, nudge nudge. Smart that you moved in with you dad and cut your costs down massively. You're doing that by choice but with the high cost of living most people will have no choice but to do that in coming years. You're not a professional stock picker so stop trying to hit it big with individual stocks. The only ones I would pick are Blue Chip dividend paying stocks. But even that's dangerous. For example I own Embridge shares just like you and I'm up 19% but my BCE or Bell shares are down 13%. I'm still up overall and I bought them for Dividends but individual stocks are a losing strategy. Wo these days I stick with etfs. I use IYW or the Ishares Technology fund which I rotated out of in the summer and moved into TLT which is the Ishares 20-year treasures etf. Central banks usually cut 6-12 months before a recession becomes official which they are doing now. In a recession people flee to safety which are treasuries. I don't see any fixed income in your portfolio. People will say but Sandman bonds are a terrible investment because they don't keep up with inflation. Correct but when we have interest rate cuts the value of long duration bonds can easily spike ten to twenty percent in a year. Sebastiano even the safe five to ten percent is losing you money when factoring in inflation. Unless you're getting ten to twelve percent a year after tax you're not keeping up with asset price inflation. The only two asset classes that have kept up with debasement over the last ten to twenty years have been Bitcoin and Big Tech Stocks over the long run. So why would I buy bonds then and sell my big tech stocks? Because they've appreciated 100% in a year and a half and I'm taking profit. Plus people are figuring out AI isn't as useful as they first thought it would be and it will take longer than most people realize to make it work. How does all this leave women broke and childless? Well, because asset prices will get away from most women because they don't have a risk appetite for Big Tech and Bitcoin. Many men such as yourself Sebastiano have too large of a risk appetite and many of the things you've purchased might as well be speculative gambles. I'll discuss more in a moment but first let me tell everyone about today's sponsor Me The Sandman:
