Forest Escape Red Oak Firewood to Pallets, Coop Roof Insulation Board Slats, Furry Hat for Cold Ears

Hauled big chunks of wood in the Gator up and down steep hills and got it home. Splitting it up, then lots of help stacking it - and gathering up the tree bark as well! Dry bark helps start the wood stove. The bulk of the red oak tree is now on pallets, but we still have the tops to get. The forest escape homestead is getting colder and more windy, so the furry hat keeps the wind out of my ears! The chicken coop needs the insulation board slats put back in, for the hens and roosters.
