Day 17 - A New Mind
Using the Moon and The Sun as the Mind and The Soul
The Sun shows up everyday, like our Soul
Soul simple yet far from simple when Life gets in the way.
Let us use this course. 30 days of teachings showing up each day. So much going on at the mind, so much more activity and much more to think about. It may seem overwhelming, a lot of hard work and energy.
That is because it is a new skill and once the body and mind get use to, it will become effortless.
The Moon has to work on its craft everyday throughout the month imitating the Sun. Each day the progress is clear to see.
After 28-30 days work, the mind realises that The Soul is the truth and all we have to do is show up.
We also can look at the phase of the moon cycle where no effort is required, a full day off, no moon-no Mind-Know Mind.
Are we able to commit one day per month where we can take a day off at the mind?
These practices are all so powerful and super beneficial.
Some much easier to do than others depending on your life
There are a few things that we all can do, and when we experience completing a day with the intention set, we will really feel the shifts
Fasting - A day fast is has so many benefits and fasting is something that will teach us so much about our life as well as creating more discipline at the mind.
Fasting is healing. More energy is stored from within as less energy is being used to break down foods. The less energy used in the body, is less energy used at the mind allowing clearer thinking.
A massive recommendation and one that will only add positives
Here are others things that we can do to replicate the new moon, with a new mind free from the ego
A day by your Self - When was the last time you were able to do this? You and your soul
A day of Silence - Setting the intention to go through the day without speaking words. You can get creative and the only way to communicate throughout this day would be through a pen and paper. So much awareness will come from choosing to remain silent
A day observing the thoughts - How many negative thoughts do you notice throughout the day. With this awareness, you will notice how often you catch your ego becoming negative
A Full day of positivity - Removing all negative words, reactions and judgement
What else could you do to replicate a new moon/new mind once per month?
