The Origins of American Feminism with Janice Fiamengo

In this Planet Waves interview by Eric Francis, Janice and Eric discuss the original of American feminism, said to be at the 1848 Seneca Falls convention. Feminism ls aways assumed to be about equality of men and women in society, socially and under the law. However, when you look back at what the early feminists were claiming, and how they waged their battles, you find out something else. War was declared on men, and deeper down, you can see that women waged war on one another.
