We visited several local bars in Kigali to engage in conversations with individuals who struggle with alcohol addiction. They shared various reasons for their consumption: some turn to alcohol as a coping mechanism due to health issues such as HIV/AIDS, while others use it to uplift their mood and find solace in tough economic struggles.
