With the recent influx of Haitians to Alabama and other states, there have been a number of Christian talking heads shaming other Christians into accepting open-ended immigration.
Using selective Bible verses, these influencers claim immigration is a good, Christian principle despite the fact current foreigners brought into the country are quite often hostile towards Christian society and the American way of life.

In response, 1819 News CEO Bryan Dawson is joined on this podcast with Pastor Rich Lusk of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Birmingham, Alabama, to discuss whether a Christian is morally obligated to support open-ended immigration. His answer will surprise you!

Beyond refugee resettlement, this episode of 1819 News: The Podcast digs into several key questions related to nations and immigration: What is a nation? What does a nation need to survive? What roles do culture, religion, common language, and things of that nature play in maintaining a nation? And what should be expected of immigrants to a nation?

The conversation doesn’t stop there, as Dawson and Lusk consider whether allowing third-world aliens into our nation en masse is really Christian charity, or if it is civilizational suicide. After all, doesn’t history show immigration without assimilation is invasion? So, what happens to a Christian society when it becomes the minority?
If you want answers to those questions, you’ll want to give this podcast a listen!

OVERTIME: We've all heard the phrase, "Diversity is our strength." But is that really true? Pastor Rich Lusk combats this narrative and rebukes the myth of multiculturalism. He also explains where this thinking came from and what we must do to combat it.
