Snickerdoodles recipe

Snickerdoodles
Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 ½ cups sugar
2 large eggs
2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
2 tbsp sugar (for rolling)
1 tbsp ground cinnamon (for rolling)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, cream butter and 1 ½ cups sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, beating until well combined.
In another bowl, whisk together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into the butter mixture.
In a small bowl, mix 2 tbsp sugar and 1 tbsp cinnamon.
Roll dough into 1-inch balls and roll in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Place on baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes, until edges are lightly golden.
Let cool on a wire rack before serving.
