Jin crosses paths with his childhood friend Ryuzo while hunting for the elusive Straw Hat Ronin. Desperate for allies to rescue Lord Shimura, Jin pleads for Ryuzo's help, but Ryuzo hesitates, his men are on the brink of starvation, unwilling to gamble their lives for a noble cause. After a sudden Mongol ambush tests their skills, Ryuzo, impressed by Jin’s prowess, agrees to lend a hand, but only if they can secure food by raiding Fort Ohira. Together, they hatch a daring plan: Ryuzo’s archers will unleash Flaming Arrows, igniting explosive barrels and creating a fiery diversion. Under the cover of chaos, Jin and Ryuzo will slip aboard the Mongol ships, split up, and scour the vessels for precious supplies, all while avoiding detection amidst the smoldering wreckage...
