Social Fashionista

One day in school I still remember now,
Wore my sleek shoes, but nobody cared – how?
But after careful observation of my friends,
I discovered they just followed other trends.
So like the empath I was and still am today,
I matched their interest and what they say.
Tuned up a notch, made it a little more extreme,
This made me more popular than I have ever been.

I'm a learned fashionista, not born this way,
Wear your fashion long enough you will change one day.
If your past doesn't match the trend have it adjusted,
Or if not possible then just forget about it.

Later in life I needed a craft to learn,
Something to do, just for a few bucks to earn.
But there was nothing interesting around for me,
So I decided fashion should my craft now be.
Organising events and donations made money,
Stay ahead of the trend and you will make honey.
Just a little more than others who do the same,
If you do it correctly you will rise to fame.

I am a fashionista I was born this way,
I don't care you're Bi, you should be gay today.
It will look better in the current social trend,
So spread your cheeks wide and your knees should bend.

Only later in life I realised how,
My "turning up a notch" had consequences now,
There were some who didn't like it, some I couldn't get,
It was then I built my theory of the social set.
In a set are all my current social fashion trends,
In my set are those who back my fashion events.
Others are extremists, but be an empath like me,
Hate and cremate them, so true love can be free.

I'm a born fashionista, still one today,
I am wearing social causes from June to May.
Don't care that I'm hated, with whom I go to bed,
Important is that he is in my fashion set.
