O God of Bethel, God of our ancestors, may You help us and bless us.
Lift up the light of Your presence on us and give us Your peace.
Help is part of who You are, one of Your defining characteristics.
We lift up our eyes to the mountains. Where does our help come from?
Our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of Heaven and earth. - Psalm 121:1-8
El-Shadai is Your name, the 'Enough God' whose resources are Devine, never inadequate and unlimited. - Genesis 17:1
Help, protect and defend us against our enemies.
As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people both now and forevermore. - Psalm 125:2
Command Your angels concerning us to guard us in all our ways; - Psalm 91:11
May we confidently say the LORD is our helper, We will not fear what can man do to us? - Hebrews 13:6
David trusted You as his helper against Goliath.
