Tux may have been hanging around in the sheltered building area this day because it was unusually cold and had rained quite a bit earlier in the day. I think that it's funny that he makes himself right at home in the building occupants' space, hopefully with the absolute minimum amount of intrusion, since not everyone knows him personally, or is comfortable with cats in general. If they only knew about him, his history, and his situation, most decent people would be very sympathetic.
