Bret Baier: Kamala Harris Interview Will Be Unedited, No Commercials

HEWITT: “High Hewitt here with Bret Baier, who gets the scoop of the year. He gets to sit down with Kamala Harris tomorrow night, you’ll see it live to tape on ‘Special Report’ at 6:00. I believe he gets to tape between 5:30 and 6:00. Am I right about that, Bret?”
BAIER: “Hey, Hugh, good morning. 5:00 and 5:30, which is — it’s a quick turnaround. So I started out by saying we plan to run it, you know, uninterrupted, but I had to check with the business people to make sure that we didn’t have any commercials in there and that we didn’t have to cut it in half or something. But for everybody who’s been asking, it is as live. In other words, we roll the tape, but it’s running just as we — we do it. So from beginning to end, you’ll see every second and it will be unedited, and we will run it without commercial straight through the first half hour of my show.”
