India's External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar will visit Pakistan on October 15 for the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) conclave, marking a rare high-level visit despite strained relations. Pakistan's opposition party, Pakistan Tehreeki-Insaf, has called off its protest as the 23rd SCO Council of Heads of Government meeting begins under tight security. The two-day meeting will focus on economic, trade, environmental, and socio-cultural cooperation, with Pakistan currently holding the rotating SCO CHG chairmanship.
