On Day 249 of my sobriety journey, I took some time to reflect on my past by reading through the drug rehab section of a Swedish forum, Flashback.org. It's a powerful reminder of where I’ve been and how far I’ve come. It’s easy to get caught up in the positivity of life moving forward, but remembering the struggles of the past keeps me grounded. As Bob Marley once said, “In this great future, you can’t forget your past.” I’m filled with gratitude for the freedom from that constant urge and need for substances—something I will never take for granted.

Now, onto today’s music. I listened to BABYMETAL’s "Doki Doki Morning," and once again, I’m surprised by their sound. It’s always an interesting experience—so far removed from what I typically enjoy, but there's something undeniably fun about their performances. I can’t say I’m fully hooked, but I do enjoy reacting to them because it’s just so different! As long as it’s fun, I’ll keep exploring more of their unique style.
