WATERMELON PALOMA

Simple, fast and refreshing is this twist of the Paloma cocktail recipe.

If you don’t have hibiscus syrup, you can also use agave syrup.

Pro tip: With a tea bag, the juice can be completely squeezed out without any chunks. This allows for precise dosing of the juice, which is especially important with watermelon. Additionally, there won’t be any unappealing watermelon pulp settling on the rim of the glass after a short while.

Recipe:
60ml-2oz TEQUILA
30ml-1oz WATERMELON JUICE
15ml-0.5oz LIME JUICE
15ml-0.5oz HIBISCUS SYRUP
30ml-1oz SODA WATER
CHILI SALT RIM

Shake first 4 ingredients with a ice and double strain into ice filled Collins glass. Top with soda water
and stir briefly.

Avoid using crushed ice. Cocktails with watermelon juice otherwise lose their taste. It is best to work with large ice cubes. They cool without diluting quickly and too much.

Cheers!
