Sara Sharif: Father told police 'I've killed my daughter' after fleeing to Pakistan, court hears

A court has heard how the father of 10-year-old Sara Sharif called the police and admitted he killed her at their home in Surrey after fleeing to Pakistan.

Urfan Sharif is on trial at the Old Bailey accused of her murder, alongside Sara's stepmother and uncle.

Opening the trial, prosecutors told the court how all the defendants had played a part in a "campaign of abuse" leading to Sara's death.

All three deny murder and causing or allowing the death of a child.
