Marvel’s Introducing NEW Non-Binary Hawkeye

It has been confirmed in the new comics by Marvel the character of Hawkeye will be a non-binary Native American 2-spirit that uses they/them pronouns.

It’s no surprise that Marvel Comics is going down this road since they’ve been making changes for years in the comics in order to have more representation. Of course, these changes have not been good for their brand and the comic book industry as a whole. One could come to the conclusion that comic books embracing identity politics is why the industry is failing, but it’s likely the opposite. Comics were not selling as well so the industry started pushing identity politics to try and shake things up only for it to expedite the decline.
