11 nurses from Mercy Hospitals, led by Brooke Harp, are providing crucial medical assistance to hurricane victims in North Carolina.

Harp emphasized the importance of stepping up, saying:

“We can relate to the destruction... I feel blessed to travel and help.”

They will offer assessments, injury care, and support for accessing medications, with plans to stay until Oct. 19 — or longer if needed.
