Labour Voters Abandon Party for Greens!
Right, so a lot of people and certainly media outlets have been discussing Keir Starmer’s first 100 days in office as Prime Minister, but no matter what their opinions have been – and they have been overwhelmingly negative for the most part and with good reason for that, one statistic stands out beyond any other, because at that 100 days mark Keir Starmer has become the most unpopular UK Prime Minister since records began, though admittedly if Liz the lettuce Truss had managed to get that far given what she managed to do in just 49 days she would almost certainly have been lower.
Nonetheless it’s an appalling statistic for Starmer and the Labour Party, replacing the rancid Tories after 14 years to be in this position, but it’s completely self inflicted. If you want to carry on like the Tories expect to be punished by the electorate in exactly the same way. Starmer’s Labour promised change, but like everything Keir Starmer promises, he lied. It’s little wonder that polling amongst Labour voters now, shows more of them now prefer the Green Party to their own party and if that is a damning fact I don’t know what is!
Right, so Keir Starmer is officially the most detested UK Prime Minister in UK history at the 100 days mark and to be honest he’s earned it.
His approval ratings after 100 days are the lowest of any Prime Minister ever, Starmer being the 58th one of these we’ve now had, but now that he is even more unpopular than Rishi Sunak, who unenviably took over the scandalised and utterly damaged Tory Party of Boris Johnson, who was in and of himself awful, but he started from a chronic standpoint too. Starmer has started from a tidal wave of hope from many, handed a supermajority to deliver on the change he has promised and just he has always done before as many a Labour Party member past and present knows all too well, he lies repeatedly through his teeth, he lied to get elected Labour leader and he’s lied it seems to get elected PM too. Now the whole country knows and when people have been so desperate for so long for some real change in their lives and he’s ripped the rug from under them, trodden all over everything he said he’d do on the basis of a £22bn financial black hole that his government refuses point blank to offer a breakdown of, yet still uses as justification to continue austerity basically. He promised change, he lied, the electorate is not amused.
We can start that £22bn financial black hole, because this is a sum of money that Labour have now committed to the nonsense and non-existent technology of carbon capture. When you consider what Labour have chosen to do to allegedly pay down their £22bn financial black hole though, it’s little wonder people have it in for Starmer.
Rubbing it in the faces of those families denied child benefit in a nation that doesn’t pay a fair wage for the crime of having had a third child, punishing the child for that just as the Tories always did. Then there are the 10 million pensioners losing their winter fuel allowance if they aren’t also claiming pension credit, the frankly nonsense and overcomplicated top up to the state pension that some pensioners have to claim because the UK state pension, much like UK average wages are too little, too low to actually live on. 6th richest economy on Earth and we have the most miserly state pension in the whole of Europe. These are choices successive government have made because none of them actually work for us, instead have used and abused us for the lobbyists benefit and boy have they got the right guy in power for their interests. Keir Starmer’s Lord Alli provided suits should have more sponsorship labels on them than a Formula 1 racing driver, because no Labour leader has taken freebies quite like Starmer has. £107,000 worth of free gifts, some £20,000 of that in just the last 100 days that he’s been Prime Minister.
Now of course this is all within the rules, it’s not illegal and goodness knows we’ve had enough Labour politicians and ministers cropping up on news media to tell us this, all whilst our incomes get slashed, the young and the old especially targeted right now, but students are as well as tuition fees look set to be hiked and the NHS is going to continue being privatised until it ceases to be anything more than a logo and the disabled are as well as their bank accounts all look set to be spied on to make sure they aren’t committing fraud despite benefit fraud being virtually negligible, especially when compared to tax evasion and avoidance, but that might impact the money coming into Labour Party coffers and football tickets for Free Gear Keir! Lord Alli being embroiled in a tax haven based business venture that he hadn’t declared on his Lords register of financial interests being a prime example right now of that.
Where Labour are defending being on the take, rather than spending their £91K salaries, we meanwhile are finding it ever harder to get by and they’re going to make it worse.
Coming back briefly to Liz the lettuce Truss though, for those who would choose to defend Sir Keith of Freebies and Rachel Reeves as a competent pair of economic hands, news that actually came out today will come as an awful shock to some that Starmer’s continuity of Tory austerity, as much as that damaged investor confidence when Truss embarked on a series of unfunded tax cuts paid for by even worse austerity, well apparently Starmer and Reves have themselves now tanked investor confidence, that it is now at this point today, even lower than it was when Truss was still in charge. This has come from the Institute of Directors in a poll they’ve conducted. Liz Truss was more trusted by investors than Starmer and Reeves are right now.
And of course how can I possibly forget to mention Zionist Starmer incessantly siding with Israel despite the blatant genocide they are carrying out, continuing to supply weapons, refuses to ever stop doing so, despite the atrocity we’re witnessing across the Middle East at Israel’s hands, there is no red line for him, but it absolutely should be a red line for all of us, that this is a Prime Minister, this is a Labour government that flat refuses to stand up for the very people, worldwide that it was created by the trade union movement to stand up for. The poor, the oppressed, the working class the world over in concert with it’s sister parties across the globe.
People who joined the Labour Party, people have voted for the Labour expect that from Labour, but not getting it, it’s no surprise they’ve turned elsewhere and in a stunning poll, it seems your average Labour voter actually now prefers the Green Party to the Labour Party, because the Greens aside from their climate and environmental credentials are now the party of social justice, standing against an array of Parties, from Labour, from the ever worsening Tories, from Reform UK Ltd, to actually stand up for ordinary working class people.
Now the likes of Starmer & Co will grin and point to the massive landslide and massive majority they got, but it was a punish the Tories election and it’s a supermajority built on the worst turnout for a General Election since the end of Universal Suffrage more than 100 years ago. This was not a vote for Labour this was a vote against the Tories election. Starmer’s own majority was halved as his party won that supermajority and goodness we know who lost their seats in Labour despite than landslide, with the likes of Thangam Debbonaire and especially Jonathan Ashworth, now widely referred to as the Secretary of State for sore losers, who the mainstream media can never seem to have off our screens. Shadow Ministers who lost their seats, one to the rejection of Labour amongst Muslim communities and the other a casualty of the Green surge as Bristol voted for real change this time around rather the snake oil Labour was offering.
Green Party co-leader Carla Denyer saw Debbonaire off and on the matter of Labour promises being worthless and Starmer’s approval ratings as he it’s 100 days in office, she said:
‘The collapse in Starmer’s popularity since taking office has been remarkable. It was clear to me during the election campaign that voters across the country wanted change. Instead, we have a government aligned with Tory austerity and its default has been to make the most vulnerable in our society pay.’
The only part of that I take issue with and I am a Green, in our party we’re allowed to criticise without pain of expulsion unlike in Labour, is her use of that word vulnerable, because people are not inherently vulnerable be they poor or disabled or whatever, they’ve been put in that position by successive governments picking on them as she did say, the poorest are a target because of the lobbying of the rich, attacks on those more put upon demographics, which would be a fairer of saying it I think, is because the rich can afford to buy politicians and buy policy and when you have a Prime Minister in Keir Starmer who is for the money and not the many, for the freebies from the few, to coin an infamous phrase from a certain former Labour leader, that isn’t going to change. It’s what the Tories have always stood for, it’s what Keir Starmer also stands for. If it walks like a Tory and talks like a Tory, it’s a Tory. So if there is one quick way to sum up Keir Starmer’s leadership nosediving, it is quite simply that he promised change and is delivering more of the same instead. It’s unforgivable and Labour won’t recover without getting rid of him first and even then it’s doesn’t look likely given who would probably end up replacing him. Labour is the biggest barrier to the very change Keir Starmer promised. We’re stuck with them now, but they look more and more likely to be a single term government because of it.
Aside from domestic offence being caused by Labour against us the ordinary working class people of the UK though, there is the international shame too and I’m not talking about arming Israel this time either although it is related. Nelson Mandela’s grandson Mandla has been barred from entering the UK to join a pro Palestine tour seemingly by Foreign Secretary David Lammy, a guy who back in May of this year, Mandla referred to as an apologist for genocide, in Lammy staunch and very much Israel Lobby paid for view that we must keep on supporting Israel. So did Lammy block him from coming to the UK out of spite? Get all the details of that story in this video recommendation here and I’ll hopefully catch you on the next vid. Cheers folks.
