In September 2024, Canton, OH police detective Brandon Momirov was fired after a video surfaced showing him kicking a 21-year-old man named Jaemiir McElroy. The incident occurred during an arrest on August 24, 2024.
A call for service for a fight led to two foot chases and two males arrested after failing to comply with lawful commands. Two handguns were recovered on scene.
