According to POW Anatoly Skiketskiy, new servicemen are being recruited into the Ukrainian army, who, due to their age and state of health, are not ready for combat operations.

'They didn't use to it. They got hit and laid down. People are now being recruited for 58-59 years. People can't evem walk but they are forced to go to war,' recalls he.

Moreover, the prisoner noted that the commanders send the troops like cannon fodder. In response to this attitude, the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not return to the deployment areas after the leave, because they do not want to serve.

'They can give an assault rifle and say to hold a certain position for two days. And you may not come back,' said he.
