The Black Sleep (1956)

Directed by Reginald Le Borg, is a horror film that combines elements of science fiction and Gothic horror. The story centers on Dr. Charles Bishop (Basil Rathbone), a once-respected surgeon who becomes obsessed with reviving a long-dead woman, Lady Mary (Patricia Blair). He uses a mysterious drug known as "the black sleep" to keep his subjects in a state of suspended animation, allowing him to conduct bizarre experiments on them.
