Tux has interacted with Khaleesi only once before this, while not being held in my arms. Khalessi was over in the jungle area lying down and Tux walked over and sniffed her tail for a few seconds.
I'm thinking that he only got away with that because she was caught off-guard, plus let's face it, she's fat and maybe not agile enough to do much without ample advance notice.
She hissed at him and he backed away to about four feet away and calmly squatted down flat and just looked at her. Over the next couple of minutes she hissed at him about ten more times, and I decided that that was enough.

I didn't bring out my cameraphone to record it because I wanted both hands free, in case a cat fight broke out. I'm told that Khalessi hasn't ever spent time with other cats, and I know that Tux has hung out with multiple cats before (see some of the other videos for him with Cole, Stripey and WhiteBelly).
Individually, both cats are more interested in exploring the other's apartment than directly in each other. Khalessi's "mother" said that Tux is welcome to come into their place when they leave their door open for her to come and go, but I can't trust either one of them to not hurt the other, and I don't think that it's appropriate for me to run into their place to break up a fight. So, it'll be a WHILE before that's likely to happen until both can prove to me that that's unlikely. I'm fairly certain that Tux would be up for it, but at five years old, Khaleesi may be too old to be taught such new tricks.

Unfortunately, neither Tux will let me trim his nails, nor can Khaleesi's get done unless she's taken to someone else to do it. With four adult hands in her home, they're still not confident trying to do it themselves. With only two hands I can't get Tux to cooperate, even though there would be some special treats in his immediate future if he were to do so.

I've burrito-wrapped him twice to be taken for a nighttime walk outside around our building, but he absolutely won't allow me to burrito him again, so doing so to try to get at his nails is highly unlikely. He's probably never resisted me more than when I tried to wrap him up the last time.

For all of those reasons, it's probably going to be a while until we can let Tux and Khaleesi interact without extremely close supervision.
